Master’s Message

Greetings from the East, Brethren and visitors.
Welcome to Idaho Springs Lodge #25, AF&AM.

Our Lodge was chartered on September 22, 1875 and is one of the oldest Masonic Lodges in Colorado.

It is my honor to serve the Lodge and my Brothers as Worshipful Master in 2019.

I am humbled by the confidence placed in me and am looking forward with enthusiasm to doing my part to continue the tradition of Idaho Springs #26 as one of the great Masonic Lodges in Colorado.

I am especially proud to follow in the footsteps of my father, L. Waymon (Tommy) Tomlinson, who served as Worshipful Master in 1962.

I want to say a special “congratulations!” to WB Larry Olde, our Worshipful Master in 2018 for a successful year in the East. Our Lodge is growing thanks to his hard work and we look to continue that growth.

We’re looking forward to a busy and fulfilling Masonic year. We have several Brother Entered Apprentices just beginning their Masonic journeys, including my son Jake Tomlinson.

As well, we have several Brother Fellow Crafts that are progressing in their Masonic travels. It will be wonderful to see these Brothers raised to the sublime degree of Master Masons.

Idaho Springs #26 shares a special kinship with our other “mountain lodges” – Nevada #4, Central #6 and Georgetown #12. We will continue our tradition of joint meetings and fellowship with our Brothers from these lodges.

We would be honored to have you join us at any of our regular, stated communications. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month and do not go dark. Our meetings are always preceded by dinner and fellowship at 6:30 pm. Lodge begins promptly at 7:30 pm.

Our Lodge is located at 210 17th Street, right in the heart of downtown Idaho Springs and directly across Miner Street from the City Hall.

All Brothers are invited.
Bring along a worthy friend who may become a Brother of ours.

Happy New Year!

Fraternally Yours,
Danny Tomlinson – Worshipful Master
